PayoutLane + HubSpot
PayoutLane imports closed deals from HubSpot, matches deal owners to your reps, and calculates commission payouts. Optional account sync brings companies and contacts into PayoutLane's built-in CRM.
About the “unverified app” screen
HubSpot shows this warning for apps that are not yet listed on the HubSpot Marketplace. PayoutLane is safe to connect — we request only the CRM scopes listed below. The warning is removed after HubSpot approves our marketplace listing.
Prefer no OAuth screen? Use the private app token method in section 2 below — it connects only to your portal with no marketplace verification prompt.
Requirements
- PayoutLane account on Team plan or Growth trial.
- HubSpot user with permission to install apps (Super Admin or Marketplace access).
- Each rep in PayoutLane uses the same work email as their HubSpot deal owner record.
- Only closed-won, refunded, and churned deals sync — open pipeline deals are skipped.
1. Connect with OAuth (recommended)
- Sign in to PayoutLane and open Deals → Live CRM sync.
- Under HubSpot, click OAuth connect. You may see HubSpot's “unverified app” notice — click Connect app to continue.
- Select the HubSpot portal that contains your sales deals and approve the scopes.
- You return to PayoutLane with HubSpot marked Connected. Click Sync deals for the first import.
- Optional: click Sync accounts to import companies and contacts into PayoutLane CRM. Enable Auto-sync daily for background imports.
2. Connect with a private app token (alternative)
Use this if your team prefers not to use OAuth, or if HubSpot policy blocks OAuth installs in your portal.
- In HubSpot: Settings → Integrations → Private Apps → Create a private app.
- On Scopes, enable: deals read, owners read, companies read/write, contacts read.
- Copy the access token from the app's Auth tab.
- In PayoutLane Deals → Live CRM sync, paste the token and click Connect token.
- Click Sync deals (and optionally Sync accounts).
3. Data we access (shared data)

We do not sell HubSpot data. Tokens are stored encrypted per organization and used only for sync you trigger or enable. See our Privacy Policy.
4. Disconnect in PayoutLane
- Open Deals → Live CRM sync.
- Under the connected HubSpot card, click Disconnect.
- Auto-sync stops. Deals already imported remain in PayoutLane until you delete them.
5. Uninstall in HubSpot
- In HubSpot: Settings → Integrations → Connected Apps.
- Find PayoutLane and uninstall or revoke access.
- PayoutLane can no longer call HubSpot APIs. Disconnect in PayoutLane as well if the connection still shows as active.
Uninstalling does not delete your PayoutLane organization, deals, or payout history.
