What PayoutLane is (and isn't)
PayoutLane calculates sales commissions from deals and rules, then produces a payout report. It does not pay reps or move money — you export the CSV and pay via payroll or bank transfer. Start with HubSpot/Salesforce CSV field mapping — no live CRM API required. Contact [email protected].

- Why not just use our CRM for commissions?
- CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) manage pipeline and customers. They are not built for monthly commission payouts with tiers, splits, clawbacks, and rep-facing statements. PayoutLane sits after the CRM: import closed deals, apply your plan, publish the payout, export for payroll. Most teams keep their CRM and add PayoutLane for the commission job only — at a fraction of CRM seat cost and without a custom build.
- Does PayoutLane pay my sales reps?
- No. PayoutLane calculates what each rep is owed and produces a payout report (and CSV). You pay reps through payroll, bank transfer, or your existing process. We sit between closed deals and the paycheck — we are not a payroll or banking product.
- Do I need CRM or payroll integrations?
- Not to start. Export deals from HubSpot or Salesforce as CSV, map columns once in PayoutLane’s field mapper, and re-import each cycle. Export the payout CSV into payroll or accounting. No live CRM API connection required.
- Who is PayoutLane for?

- How fast can we run our first payout?

- How do clawbacks work?
- When a deal is marked refunded or churned and the rule has clawbacks enabled, the next payout period posts a negative commission line for that deal.
